Couturier releases 2026 Autumn/Winter catalog amid knitting boom

Felissimo’s handmade kit brand, Couturier, has released its 2026 Autumn/Winter catalog, featuring 22 new kits, including 11 new knitting products. The release comes amid a sustained knitting boom in Japan, driven by social media trends and a growing interest in digital detoxing. The brand reported significant growth in its knitting category, with performance reaching 246% in April 2026 compared to April 2024.

The new collection includes collaborations with prominent knit designers, such as Chihiro Uno’s top-down sweater kit and Motoko Sasaki’s crochet bag kit. The catalog also emphasizes beginner-friendly resources and diverse techniques like Afghan knitting.

Additionally, the brand announced the return of its annual online event, ‘Knitting Festa.’ Following a successful previous run that garnered over 450,000 page views, the event is scheduled to run for approximately 100 days from November 3, 2026, to February 10, 2027.
