Covasna County Council seeks EU funds for Zăbala Recreation Center

The Covasna County Council has approved updated technical-economic documentation to seek European funds for the reconstruction of the Zăbala Recreation Center. The project aims to demolish several degraded structures, including a dining hall, dormitories, a kitchen, and a warehouse, to make way for a new building.

The total investment is estimated at approximately 22.4 million lei. The council intends to apply for funding through the 2021-2027 Regional Program Center, specifically under the priority for sustainable tourism and increasing social inclusion for children and youth through public tourist assets. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to modernize the county's network of school camps and recreation centers.
