Coventry Blaze and Guildford Flames split pre-season hockey matchups

The Coventry Blaze and Guildford Flames faced each other in two separate pre-season ice hockey matchups.

In the first encounter at the Skydome Arena, the Coventry Blaze secured a 6-4 victory to conclude their pre-season campaign. Coventry established an early lead with goals from Nick Grima and Griffin Ness, followed by scoring from Marko Csollak and William Boysen. Although the Guildford Flames attempted a comeback in the third period with goals from Jordan Power, Chase Gresock, Cole Sanford, and Nate Kallen, the Blaze maintained their lead.

In a separate pre-season fixture held at Spectrum, the Guildford Flames defeated the Coventry Blaze with a 7-2 scoreline. The Flames took an early advantage through Cole Sanford and Nate Kallen. Despite a goal from Coventry’s Andrew Nielsen, the Flames extended their lead with strikes from Chase Gresock, Matt Alvaro, Jack Jacome, and a brace from Brett Neumann.
