Coventry City Centre South regeneration reaches construction milestone

Construction has commenced on the first tower of the City Centre South regeneration project in Coventry. Developed by The Hill Group, the project has reached this milestone following the completion of demolition and groundworks.

The initial phase of the development includes 200 affordable homes, consisting of 145 units for social rent and 55 for shared ownership, delivered under an agreement with Legal & General. The project also features an on-site skills hub designed to provide training and job opportunities for local residents.

Local officials, including West Midlands Mayor Richard Parker and Coventry Council Leader George Duggins, noted that the development is intended to drive regional growth, create employment, and address local housing needs.
