Coventry City signs defender Ethan Pinnock from Brentford

Coventry City has completed the signing of centre-back Ethan Pinnock from Brentford. The deal is reportedly worth up to £6 million, consisting of a £5 million fixed fee and £1 million in potential add-ons.

The 33-year-old defender has signed a three-year contract with the option for a fourth year. Pinnock joins the newly-promoted side to provide experience and leadership under manager Frank Lampard. During his tenure at Brentford, which began in 2019, Pinnock made 216 appearances and played a key role in their promotion to the Premier League.

Pinnock is the tenth addition to the Coventry squad this summer, joining other recent signings such as Aurele Amenda, Gustavo Hamer, and Taiwo Awoniyi.
