Coventry City signs Sidiki Cherif from Fenerbahçe

Coventry City has completed the signing of 19-year-old forward Sidiki Cherif from Turkish club Fenerbahçe on a long-term deal. Cherif, who previously played for Angers in France, brings European experience to the newly promoted Premier League side, having featured in UEFA competitions.

Cherif made his official debut for Coventry City during a League Cup second-round match against Plymouth Argyle. Entering the game in the 70th minute as a substitute for Taiwo Awoniyi, the young forward appeared in a high-scoring 4-2 victory that secured Coventry's advancement to the third round. The match marked the first official win of the season for the squad managed by Frank Lampard.
