Cowi appoints Marianne Bie Frydendahl as Chief People Officer

Cowi has appointed Marianne Bie Frydendahl as its new Chief People Officer (CPO) and a member of the company's executive leadership team. The appointment is effective from October 1, 2026.

In this newly created role, Frydendahl will be responsible for People and Organisation as well as innovation across the company. The position aims to strengthen the connection between employees, technology, innovation, and corporate strategy to support Cowi's ongoing transformation and growth.

Frydendahl brings over 30 years of leadership experience from Novozymes and Novonesis. Most recently, she served as Vice President for Strategy, Integration, and Sustainability. She previously led People and Organisation at Novozymes, where she played a key role in the integration and establishment of Novonesis following the merger of Novozymes and Chr. Hansen. She will report directly to Cowi CEO Jens Højgaard Christoffersen.
