Cowichan River float inspires new mobile gaming app

Tiffany Cruz, founder of the app development brand ThinkingSphinx, has launched a new mobile gaming app titled ‘Cowichan River Float’ on Google Play. The project was inspired by a family trip to Lake Cowichan and the Cowichan River in Canada.

Cruz, who moved to Squamish in 2018, developed the game after experiencing the peacefulness of floating down the river. The app aims to capture the sensation of being carried by the current while incorporating elements of challenge. This marks Cruz’s first gaming app following her previous release, Venty AI.
