Cox's Bazar Airport prepares for international flights in October
Preparations are being intensified to launch international flights from Cox's Bazar Airport as early as October. The airport features the country's longest runway and a modern 18,000-square-meter international passenger terminal designed to accommodate large aircraft.
Technical upgrades have been implemented to match the standards of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, including advanced baggage handling systems, X-ray machines, and enhanced security infrastructure. Officials expect these developments to significantly boost the local tourism sector by providing direct access for foreign tourists and expatriates.
