Coyah and Mayahi launch local development and sanitation initiatives

In Coyah, Guinea, municipal authorities have partnered with the Sanita Villes Propres project to combat urban unsanitation. Project president Alix Lerebours met with local officials to establish a collaboration focused on waste management and improving living conditions across the commune's 19 neighborhoods. To coordinate these efforts, the communal council held a meeting with neighborhood presidents, transport unions, and motorcycle taxi drivers, resulting in a scheduled sanitation operation.

In Mayahi, Niger, local stakeholders have begun the validation process for the Communal Development Plan (PDC). Presided over by Department Prefect Adamou Mounkaila, the workshop involves traditional leaders and regional planning representatives. The PDC is intended to serve as a strategic roadmap to prioritize local needs, guide municipal interventions, and improve resource mobilization through a participatory governance approach.
