Coyote vs. Acme achieves global box office success

The film “Coyote vs. Acme” has achieved significant box office success following its late August release. After being originally archived by Warner Bros. for tax purposes, the project was acquired by Ketchup Entertainment for $50 million. The film has now surpassed $82 million in global revenue, with approximately $41.5 million to $47.8 million coming from the United States and Canada.

Mexico has emerged as a primary market for the production, generating over $12 million in revenue and securing the number one spot at the Mexican box office for three consecutive weeks. In response to this popularity, director Dave Green is scheduled to visit Mexico City for a special screening and fan meet-and-greet at the Cineteca Nacional on Monday, September 21.

On the critical front, the film maintains a 96% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. While the film is performing well, distributors note that the production requires a global box office total exceeding $100 million to reach profitability on its $70 million investment in production and marketing costs.
