The live-action/animated hybrid film ‘Coyote vs. Acme’ has secured a theatrical release through Ketchup Entertainment. The film’s journey to audiences follows a period of uncertainty after it was originally produced for Warner Bros.’ streaming platform, Max.

Directed by Dave Green and written by Samy Burch, the movie is inspired by a 1990 satirical essay by Ian Frazier. The plot follows Wile E. Coyote as he seeks legal justice against the ACME Corporation for the repeated failure of its defective products. The cast includes Will Forte, Lana Condor, and John Cena.

Warner Bros. had previously opted to shelve the completed film in 2023, prompting significant social media outcry. Following this, the rights were sold to Ketchup Entertainment in March 2025, ensuring the film’s eventual release.
