Coyote vs. Acme to be released after Warner Bros. cancellation

Originally intended as an audacious comedy inspired by ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit?’, the project was abruptly shelved by Warner Bros. for tax write-off purposes despite positive audience test scores. The decision caused significant frustration among the cast and crew, including star Will Forte, who described the sudden termination of the finished film as devastating.

Directed by Dave Green and written by Samy Burch, the story follows Wile E. Coyote as he seeks legal recourse against corrupt corporations through an attorney, played by Forte. The film’s release marks a recovery for the project after its initial dismissal by the studio.
