Cozumel Mayor oversees public works in Magisterio neighborhood

Cozumel Mayor José Luis Chacón Méndez conducted a site visit to the Magisterio neighborhood to oversee the ‘Juntos Limpiamos Cozumel’ initiative. The municipal works focused on improving public spaces and road conditions.

Key actions included the removal of four large scrap vehicles, cleaning the local park, and clearing two wells to prevent flooding during rainy periods. Additionally, public security and transit personnel addressed reports of abandoned vehicles, resulting in the removal of one. The municipal government also utilized ‘Retro del Pueblo’ equipment to expand and improve local roadways.
