Cozy Game Restoration reaches 400,000 Steam wishlists

Solo developer Adam Stormhardt of Melbourne-based Parasol Corp has seen significant interest in his upcoming title, Cozy Game Restoration, which has surpassed 400,000 wishlists on Steam. The game, a retro-themed cleaning and collecting simulator, is scheduled to launch on November 4th for $14.99 on Windows and Mac, with Steam Deck compatibility planned.

Players engage in restoring vintage games from the 1980s through the early 2000s by removing dust, grime, and adhesive residue. The game features 108 distinct titles across six fictional retro-inspired platforms, including both PAL and NTSC regional variants. At launch, the title will offer 300 quests and five rarity levels for collectors.

Interest in the project has grown steadily throughout 2026. A playtest in May drew nearly 150,000 sign-ups, and the game's demo ranked among the top 25 most-played during June’s Steam Next Fest. The experience includes collaborations with real indie titles like Abiotic Factor and features various Easter eggs inspired by major gaming franchises.
