Specific age groups, such as youth between 12 and 27 and seniors over 60, are eligible for reduced rates, while children up to 11 may travel for free under certain conditions.

Other cost-saving options include CP’s ‘Bilhetes Promo,’ which can offer discounts of up to 65% on Alfa Pendular and Intercidades trains when booked in advance. Additionally, the ‘TrainSharing’ program allows groups of three or four people to receive discounts of up to 50% on certain services if the purchase is made collectively.
