CPBL: Fubon Guardians and Uni-President Lions split matchups

The Fubon Guardians and Uni-President Lions faced each other in two separate matchups in the CPBL, with each team securing a dominant victory in their respective games.

In the first contest, the Fubon Guardians defeated the Uni-President Lions 8-2. Fubon pitcher Chiang Kuo-hao provided strong early defense, striking out six over five innings. Offensive highlights for the Guardians included a two-run home run by Wang Yi-cheng in the fourth inning and a decisive three-run home run by Chang Yuan-chen in the eighth inning.

In a separate matchup, the Uni-President Lions achieved a commanding 12-1 victory over the Fubon Guardians. Veteran player Chen Yung-chi was named MVP after recording two hits and three RBIs.
