CPBL: Fubon Guardians defeat Rakuten Monkeys 13-0

In recent CPBL action, the Fubon Guardians secured a dominant 13-0 victory over the Rakuten Monkeys at the Taipei Dome. Fubon's starting pitcher, Chiang Kuo-hao, delivered a strong performance, pitching seven scoreless innings with three strikeouts on 94 pitches to earn his third win of the season and his first MVP award in two years.

The heavy deficit led Rakuten to use position player Lin Tzu-wei as a pitcher in the eighth inning, marking his professional pitching debut. During the game, Lin also recorded his third hit of the match while batting.

Separately, Rakuten Monkeys manager Tseng Hao-chu is closely monitoring pitcher Tseng Chia-hui as he approaches a milestone of 100 innings pitched this season.
