CPCB and GPSC announce multiple government job vacancies

The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has announced 51 contractual vacancies under the Strengthening of Environmental Regulators (SER)-Phase-III Project focused on the River Ganga. Positions include Scientist-D, Scientist-C, Scientist-B, Assistant Manager (Finance), Administrative Assistant, Scientific Assistant, Taxonomist, Data Entry Operator, and Field Assistant. The project is funded by the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) under the Namami Gange Programme. Applications are open online from August 24 to September 7, 2026, with no application fee.

Separately, the Goa Public Service Commission (GPSC) has released a notification for 38 vacancies. These roles include Assistant Professor, Embryologist, and Veterinary Officer, distributed across the Public Health Department (Goa Medical College) and the Directorate of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services. The application deadline for most posts is August 28, 2026, while the deadline for Transfer on Deputation posts is September 28, 2026.
