CPERS launches Sineta edition to address public education rights
The CPERS (Centro dos Professores do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul) has released a new edition of Sineta, a publication aimed at mobilizing educators regarding the future of public education in Rio Grande do Sul.
The edition includes a special insert detailing how state deputies voted on projects affecting the rights of the category and public education. It provides a chronology of measures taken by the administrations of Eduardo Leite and Gabriel Souza, covering topics such as changes to the teaching career plan, pension reforms, IPE Saúde reforms, and the potential privatization of state schools.
The publication emphasizes that the future of the educational network, including salaries, career structures, and budgets, is determined through collective organization and electoral choices.
