CPI(M) leader Hannan Mollah criticizes delay in Women's Reservation Bill
CPI(M) senior leader Hannan Mollah has criticized the Indian central government regarding the delay in implementing the Women's Reservation Bill. Mollah argued that although the bill has been passed, the government has failed to put it into effect.
Mollah further alleged that linking the bill to delimitation is a conspiracy to mislead the public. He expressed concerns that delimitation could negatively impact the parliamentary structure, suggesting it might turn Parliament into a ‘den of criminals’ rather than a place for constructive debate.
Additionally, Mollah addressed Prime Minister Modi’s comments regarding ‘mental Naxalites,’ countering that true mental barbarism lies in spreading violence in the name of religion. He criticized the current state of politics, describing it as being filled with lies and deceit.
