CPKC Holiday Train to make Louisiana debut

The CPKC Holiday Train is expanding its tour to Louisiana for the first time this year. The tradition, which has been running since 1999, features a light-covered train and free live musical performances at various stops.

While admission to the concerts is free, attendees are encouraged to bring cash donations or non-perishable food items. All contributions remain within the local community to support families in need. Since its inception, the initiative has raised over $28.3 million and collected more than 5.6 million pounds of food for food banks across Canada and the United States.

The upcoming tour runs from November 19 through December 20, making 182 stops. The Louisiana route includes Monroe, Ruston, DeQuincy, Leesville, and Zwolle, as well as a stop in Port Arthur, Texas. Performers for the region include Chase Rice, Madeline Edwards, Magic!, and MARIS.
