Brazil transportation services face maintenance and operational changes

Various transportation services across Brazil are experiencing operational changes and maintenance-related disruptions.

In São Paulo, CPTM has scheduled maintenance for the weekend affecting Lines 10-Turquesa and 11-Coral, as well as the Expresso Aeroporto service, which will see increased intervals. Additionally, SPTrans has expanded operating hours and increased trip frequency for the 3736/10 line between Jardim Nossa Senhora do Carmo and Metrô Artur Alvim on weekends. On the Anchieta-Imigrantes highway system, traffic is experiencing delays and partial closures due to ongoing works and high vehicle flow.

In other regions, Metrô BH is implementing infrastructure works on Line 1, resulting in increased train intervals and single-track operations through early September. In Caraguatatuba, bus line 407 will undergo a temporary itinerary change starting August 31 due to water pipeline installations by SANEAR and Sabesp. Meanwhile, the concessionaire Nova 381 is beginning the installation of a High Speed Weigh-In-Motion (HS-WIM) system on the BR-381 highway in Bom Jesus do Amparo, which will require a 700-meter traffic diversion starting August 31.
