Cracovia and Wisła Kraków target new players for Ekstraklasa squads
Polish football clubs are actively pursuing several players to strengthen their squads during the summer transfer window.
Cracovia has identified Kennedy Okpala, a 21-year-old striker from SC Paderborn, as a primary target to improve their offensive capabilities. Despite his club's recent promotion to the Bundesliga, Okpala may seek a move due to limited playing time. Cracovia faces competition from the Swedish club AIK for his signature.
Additionally, Mads Agger, a winger currently with Pogoń Szczecin, has drawn interest from both Cracovia and Wisła Kraków. Agger, who joined Pogoń from Denmark in February, has seen limited recent playing time. While his contract runs until 2029, interest from Polish clubs and Danish side Odense Boldklub suggests a potential departure this summer.
