Cracovia launches 120th‑anniversary run and schedules summer friendly against İstanbul Başakşehir

Polish football club Cracovia is marking its 120‑year history with the inaugural "I Bieg Cracovii" set for 27 September 2026. The event offers a symbolic 1,906‑metre course commemorating the club’s founding year and a main 5‑km race. Registration is open online and at the official club store, with limited spots, souvenir medals and optional team shirts available.

As part of its summer preparations, Cracovia will also face Turkish Süper Lig side İstanbul Başakşehir in a friendly on 6 July 2026 in Austria. The match follows a recent 1‑2 loss to Cyprus’ Pafos FC. Broadcast will be provided free via the club’s official streaming channel, with viewing instructions outlined by the broadcaster. Başakşehir is valued at about €75 million compared with Cracovia’s €23 million, and the fixture serves as a key test before Cracovia’s next scheduled friendly against FK Pardubice.
