Craft hobby events held in Matsumoto and Tokyo

The Craft Picnic event took place on October 17 and 18 at Agata no Mori Park in Matsumoto, organized by the NPO Matsumoto Craft Promotion Association. The event featured approximately 100 exhibitors showcasing woodworking, ceramics, metalwork, glass, leather, and food. Participants engaged in various workshops ranging from quick 20-minute accessory making to hour-long sessions such as pottery painting and hand-knitting.

In Tokyo, the Craft Hobby Festa feat. Sanrio Characters is scheduled for October 24 and 25 at Olinas Kinshicho. This collaborative event by seven toy manufacturers—including Bandai, Takara Tomy, and Epoch—will offer seven types of craft hobby experiences and Sanrio-themed photo spots. The festival is designed for participants aged 12 and under.
