Cranbrook to host Fleet Forward zero-emission vehicle showcase

The Fleet Forward zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) showcase will take place on Thursday, September 24, at the College of the Rockies Cranbrook campus. This free, full-day event is designed for organizations in the Kootenays, including businesses, local governments, and public sector groups, to explore how electric trucks, buses, and other large ZEVs can be integrated into their operations to reduce costs.

Attendees will have the opportunity to view electric and hybrid vehicles currently operating in the region and speak directly with operators about their experiences. The event will also provide information on equipment manufacturers, available funding, and new incentives designed to reduce the capital costs of purchasing zero-emission vehicles. Additionally, the College of the Rockies will present information regarding its Electric Vehicle Maintenance Technology course.
