Cranswick partners with The Jolly Hog to scale British pork brand

Cranswick, the UK pork and poultry processor, has entered a strategic partnership with The Jolly Hog, a fast‑growing challenger brand founded by brothers Olly, Max and Josh Kohn. Under the deal Cranswick becomes the long‑term manufacturing partner, providing investment, technical expertise and increased production capacity to meet rising retailer demand while maintaining the brand’s 100 % British, outdoor‑bred and RSPCA‑Assured pork standards.

The Jolly Hog will remain founder‑led and independently run from its Bristol headquarters, with the Kohn brothers continuing to direct the business. The partnership is expected to boost the brand’s revenue, which the founders project could reach £30 million this year and double over the next three years. Cranswick anticipates the collaboration will also strengthen its own gourmet products segment, which grew 15.3 % in the year to March 2026.

Both parties emphasize that the agreement will preserve The Jolly Hog’s values and product quality while expanding its market presence across the retail sector.
