CRAO demands answers from Olavarría Municipality over animal health services

The animal welfare organization Cuidado Responsable de Animales de Olavarría (CRAO) has issued a formal complaint against the Municipality of Olavarría regarding the management of the Bromatología department.

CRAO reports that the department has been without a director since April 23. The organization expressed concern that the lack of professional leadership affects public and animal health. Additionally, CRAO noted that a formal file (Expediente A N.º 818) submitted on March 20 remains unanswered by municipal authorities.

The group also criticized the current veterinary emergency service schedule, which they claim is concentrated only on weekends, leaving no coverage for urgent animal needs during weekdays. CRAO has requested a meeting with Mayor Maximiliano Wesner to discuss these issues and has called for a more serious and responsible animal health policy.
