Crazy Cheese assets to be auctioned following bankruptcy

Following the bankruptcy of the Crazy Cheese group, owned by Roland Ludomirska, the auction house Aurena will auction approximately 660 items from the company’s headquarters in Hart near Graz.

The auction includes a wide variety of assets, ranging from professional gastronomy equipment such as slicing and vacuum machines, scales, and shop fittings like bars and stools, to office and IT equipment. Notable items for sale include original cheese wheels, decorative cheese wheels, champagne glasses, caviar tins, and even a disco ball.

The insolvency proceedings for Crazy Cheese Manufacture Holding GmbH and its subsidiary, MRL Crazy Cheese Manufacture W GmbH, were filed with the Graz Regional Court in July. All business locations of the company, which marketed itself as one of the world’s most exclusive cheese stores, have already closed. Bidding is currently open, with the first successful bids expected on August 24, 2026.
