Crazy Raccoon transitions to sponsor-free operations after GALLERIA partnership ends
Professional eSports team Crazy Raccoon (CR) announced on August 31 that its sponsorship agreement with the gaming PC brand GALLERIA has ended. This marks the conclusion of a partnership that began in May 2021, during which the two entities collaborated on specialized PC models and supported various team activities.
Following the conclusion of the GALLERIA contract, Crazy Raccoon will transition to an operating model with zero sponsors. The team's owner, CR. Ojiji, stated on social media that reaching a state of zero sponsors was actually a personal goal, expressing a sense of accomplishment in having built a sustainable foundation. Ojiji noted that if the team seeks new partnerships in the future, they will look for a single company to which they can dedicate their full efforts.
Despite the lack of corporate sponsors, Crazy Raccoon maintains a diverse revenue model through its competitive division, content creators, large-scale events like the 'Crazy Raccoon CUP,' and educational initiatives such as the 'CR Gaming School.'
