Círculo de Ajedrez de Berazategui celebrates 55th anniversary

The Círculo de Ajedrez de Berazategui celebrated its 55th anniversary with a commemorative event at its local headquarters. The celebration included an open tournament and a tribute to International Master Facundo Pierrot, who was honored by having one of the club's rooms named after him.

Berazategui Mayor Carlos Balor attended the event, where he received an honorary membership card. Balor expressed support for local community institutions, stating that supporting neighborhood clubs is a continuing legacy. The club's president, Martín Correa, expressed gratitude for the municipal government's ongoing cooperation and highlighted the institution's strong sense of belonging and its growing number of young members.
