Círculo Médico de Salta threatens action over IPS fees

The Círculo Médico de Salta has threatened to take action if the Instituto Provincial de Salud (IPS) does not improve consultation fee values. The organization argues that the current set value of $18,500 does not reflect inflation or their previous requests for updates.

In addition to fee disputes, the medical group has raised objections regarding medical audits and billing debits. Adriana Falco, president of the institution, noted that recent audits led to proposed debits as high as 25% of invoiced amounts, though subsequent reviews reduced these figures significantly. The group is calling for better coordination between technical teams to prevent incorrect deductions and expedite payments to professionals across the province.
