Córdoba celebrates devotion to Archangel San Rafael

Religious and cultural activities centered on the Archangel San Rafael, the patron custodian of Córdoba, took place this week. During a Mass at the Iglesia del Juramento, Bishop Jesús Fernández invoked the Archangel’s intercession for the city’s poorest neighborhoods, noting recent statistics regarding low per capita income in certain districts.

The Bishop also addressed broader European themes, calling for a return to Christian roots and emphasizing the importance of reconciliation and responsible language in public life.

In a parallel cultural event, the Brotherhood of San Rafael presented its annual magazine at the same church. Edited by Alejandro Aguilar, the publication features contributions from local authorities, including the Mayor of Córdoba and the President of the Provincial Council, focusing on the history and heritage of the city's devotion to the Archangel.
