Córdoba City Council approves new police commissions and economic agreements

The Córdoba City Council, led by Mayor Manuel Alonso Cerezo, held an ordinary session to approve several measures aimed at improving local governance and public services.

Key outcomes included the integration and swearing-in of the Police Professional Career Service Commission and the Commission of Honor and Justice. To encourage civic engagement, the council approved a call for an Open Council Session scheduled for September 9, which will focus on strengthening local sports through citizen participation and municipal coordination.

Additionally, the council authorized the mayor and the unique syndic to sign two twinning agreements intended to promote the city nationally and boost the local economy.
