Córdoba City Council faces scrutiny over incomplete vehicle registry

The Córdoba City Council is facing scrutiny regarding its official vehicle registry. Following a transparency request, the municipal Transparency Unit provided an incomplete list of at least 282 units. The documentation lacked critical details such as license plates, Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN), names of responsible custodians, and current operational status.

Furthermore, the council failed to provide reports on vehicle write-offs, technical assessments of unserviceable assets, or a list of vehicles lacking active custodianship. The State Comptroller General ruled in favor of a transparency challenge and has ordered the municipality to comply with the resolution within five business days to avoid notification to higher authorities.
