Córdoba Ciudad de la Justicia man dies after self-immolation
A man has died after setting himself on fire in front of the Ciudad de la Justicia in Córdoba, Spain. The incident occurred around 2:00 PM on a Saturday near the Arroyo del Moro area.
According to security reports, the man attempted to force his way into the judicial building, which was closed to the general public. After breaking through one door and failing to enter the main vestibule, he exited the building and doused himself in a liquid, believed to be gasoline, before igniting himself.
Emergency services, including local and national police and firefighters, responded to the scene. The man was transported to Hospital Reina Sofía, where he later succumbed to his injuries and burns.
