Córdoba, Colombia offers vehicle tax discounts until June 30

The government of the department of Córdoba has set a June 30 deadline for vehicle owners to pay their vehicle tax and receive a 5 % early‑payment discount plus a 50 % reduction in fines and interest for 2024 and earlier years. The finance secretary, Catalina Mariño, urged taxpayers to take advantage of the savings before the discounts expire. Payments can be made at designated points, banks, and online through the department’s tax portal.

If the deadline passes, the discounts will end, and owners who have not settled their obligations will lose the opportunity to save money and avoid higher costs from accrued interest and penalties.
