Córdoba educational centers participate in chess program
The 'aulaDjaque' program, managed by the Ministry of Education, saw participation from 92 educational centers in the province of Córdoba during the previous school year. The initiative aims to promote the benefits of chess in the classroom, using it as a pedagogical tool to foster cognitive, ethical, and socio-affective skills rather than focusing solely on competition.
Education Minister María del Carmen Castillo has encouraged school management teams to register for the 2026-2027 term. Interested centers can submit applications through the Séneca Information System between September 1 and September 30. The program focuses on 'educational chess,' treating the game as a transversal method to address various curriculum areas through a creative and playful approach.
