Córdoba Governor announces new virtual assistant and university expansion plans
Governor Erasmo Zuleta has introduced 'Coti', a new virtual assistant designed to provide 24-hour support for citizens in the Córdoba department. The tool aims to facilitate access to information regarding departmental procedures, including passport applications, tax obligations, ReTHUS health talent registration, and departmental investments.
Additionally, the Governor is seeking to fund a new campus for the University of Córdoba in Tierralta through the 'Obras por Impuestos' mechanism. This program allows companies to direct part of their income tax toward investment projects in municipalities affected by conflict. The proposed campus, part of the 'Universidad en tu Territorio' strategy, is projected to accommodate between 1,200 and 1,500 students, aiming to increase higher education access in the Alto Sinú region.
