Córdoba honors local cinema and opens Industry Day awards call

The Córdoba municipal government recognized two locally produced feature films, “La noche está marchándose ya” by Ezequiel Salinas and Ramiro Sonzini and “Para hacer una película solo hace falta un arma” by Santiago Sein. The ceremony at the Cineclub Municipal included a plaque presentation and remarks from neighbourhood, culture and sports secretary Héctor “Pichi” Campana, highlighting the films’ national and international festival runs and their cultural significance.

Separately, the provincial Ministry of Production announced the opening of the call for the 2026 Premios Día de la Industria. The awards will honor companies and associative groups that have advanced innovation, quality, sustainability and productivity in Córdoba’s industrial sector. Applications are accepted from 6 to 31 August, with categories covering associativity, quality certifications, technological innovation, and environmental sustainability.
