Córdoba initiates International Agenda 2030 Forum and AI Training Program for SMEs
The Córdoba City Council, after receiving a Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030 grant in October, has signed a seven‑month contract worth €164,300 to develop its Strategic Agenda 2030 plan. The contract includes creating a Web Observatory for local Sustainable Development Goals, producing a Voluntary Progress Report, and organising an international forum for cities to exchange knowledge on the Agenda.
Separately, the provincial government’s Iprodeco has launched the EU‑co‑funded CordobIA project, a €215,000 initiative aimed at up‑skilling 81 residents – 60 employees from small‑ and medium‑sized enterprises and 21 unemployed individuals – in artificial intelligence, automation and productivity. The programme comprises four training editions, mentoring services and a community platform to foster digital transformation across the province.
