CGT Formosa conducts worker training on national labor reform

The CGT Formosa regional delegation held a training session for workers focused on the implications of the new national labor reform. Under the slogan ‘What the worker must know’, the event aimed to provide technical and legal tools to help employees navigate changes in the national regulatory framework.

The initiative was led by the regional directorate, headed by Secretary General Hilario Martínez, through the newly established Secretariat of Training and Capacity Building. Deputy Secretary Isabelino Idoyaga noted that the session addressed specific articles affecting both the public and private sectors, emphasizing that informed workers are better equipped to defend themselves in labor conflicts.

Blanca Almirón, head of the training secretariat, highlighted that this is the first time the regional branch has had a dedicated area for technical-political instruction. The training featured a panel of legal and academic specialists to discuss the impact of the legislation on workers and their families.
