Córdoba launches Ruta 100 tourism corridor
The Córdoba Tourism Agency has officially launched “Ruta 100,” a new 536-kilometer tourism initiative designed to connect more than 50 localities across the province. Spanning from Cruz del Eje to Río Cuarto, the route aims to link traditional destinations with emerging towns by utilizing the provincial road and highway network.
Governor Martín Llaryora presented the project, stating that the initiative seeks to promote year-round tourism and stimulate the local economy through the “orange economy.” The route will incorporate various elements, including viewpoints, cultural heritage sites, and regional gastronomy, to provide an integrated travel experience. According to officials, over 80% of the towns included in the route are considered emerging destinations, offering new development opportunities for local communities.
