Santa Fe prepares for 2026 South American Games with sports investments

Argentina is advancing various regional development and sports initiatives. In Santa Fe, Governor Maximiliano Pullaro has distributed funds to 15 sports clubs across Caseros, General López, Rosario, and Constitución to strengthen infrastructure and social support ahead of the 2026 South American Games. These games, hosted in Santa Fe, Rosario, and Rafaela, are expected to involve over 4,000 athletes from 15 countries.

In Paraná, the softball fixtures for the South American Games have been announced, with both men’s and women’s national teams scheduled to compete in September. The event will be held at the Nafaldo Cargnel stadium.

Other regional news includes the presentation of the 'Armar Comunidad' program in Córdoba to support the elderly, and the delivery of high-tech medical equipment to the San Juan de Dios Hospital in Bolivia via a BID-funded program. Additionally, in Formosa, officials met with psychology students to discuss public mental health policies to be presented at an upcoming national congress.
