Córdoba leads Zona B after victory over Foot Ball

In the seventh round of the Provincial Major Basketball League, Córdoba secured a 70-64 victory against host team Foot Ball in Esquina. This win, combined with San Lorenzo de Monte Caseros' loss to San Martín de Curuzú Cuatiá, leaves Córdoba as the sole leader of Zona B with a record of six wins and one loss.

Key performers for Córdoba included Francisco Romero with 16 points and Alexander López with 15 points. Foot Ball was led by Luciano Cárdenas with 20 points and Franco Alegre with 12 points. Despite a close contest that remained competitive through the final quarter, Córdoba's rotation and late-game effectiveness secured the win.

In Zona A, Pingüinos defeated Español 75-72 in Santa Lucía, led by Federico Hoferek's 29 points. Additionally, El Tala secured a narrow 53-50 victory over Juventus in a matchup between capital city teams.
