Córdoba Legislature employee accused of sexual abuse
A formal judicial complaint has been filed against Omar Manuel Ludueña, a permanent employee of the Córdoba Legislature, alleging sexual abuse that occurred during the victim's childhood and adolescence.
The complainant, who is the accused's adoptive sister, stated that the abuse began when she was three years old and continued until she was 14. She reported that during a previous attempt to seek justice when she was six, she denied the abuse due to fear of retaliation and the lack of protective measures, such as the use of a Gesell Chamber.
Ludueña has been an employee of the Legislature since 2015 and was previously an advisor for the Unión Cívica Radical (UCR) bloc. He was most recently part of the team for legislator Alejandra Ferrero, leader of the Juntos por el Cambio inter-bloc. Following the public disclosure of the allegations, Ferrero has requested his removal from his position.
