Córdoba Ministry of Education launches new UNICEF teaching materials and financial‑education program for secondary schol

The Córdoba Ministry of Education, in partnership with UNICEF, presented two new interdisciplinary booklets for fourth‑year secondary students. Developed by local teachers under the PLaNEA project, the materials emphasize challenge‑based learning, collaborative work, digital tools and critical thinking.

The ministry also announced a new edition of the "Education Financial in the Classroom" training for secondary teachers, created with the Association Conciencia and Banco Supervielle. The program, grounded in the provincial Economic and Financial Literacy law, integrates gender and digital‑fraud perspectives and aims to equip teachers as multipliers of practical financial knowledge. Minister Horacio Ferreyra said, "Financial education is essential for full citizenship," while Secretary Gabriela C. Peretti added, "The proposal strengthens teachers as agents of change."
