Córdoba Museum and Atacama Science Exhibition Open Free in July
The Provincial Museum of Natural Sciences in Córdoba, Argentina, will offer free admission to visitors from July 7 through July 27. The initiative, announced by the province’s cultural agency, aims to boost attendance during the winter holidays and includes the launch of a new immersive exhibit called “Immersion to the Megafauna,” featuring a large mural and fossil displays. The museum, which draws about 15,000 visitors each month, seeks to make cultural and scientific education accessible to families despite a difficult economic context.
Meanwhile, the Regional Museum of Atacama in Chile will host the traveling exhibition “The Awakening of the Senses” from July 10 to August 1. The free, interactive showcase presents 17 modules that let visitors explore scientific concepts through hands‑on experiments such as giant bubbles and a nail‑wall. Organized by the Museum Interactive Mirador and supported by regional cultural authorities, the exhibit is intended for audiences of all ages and for school groups, enhancing regional access to cultural and scientific programming.
