Córdoba officials convene Santa María regional meeting on municipal finances

Leaders of the Santa María regional community in Córdoba held a meeting with provincial officials to discuss the fiscal challenges faced by local governments. The gathering, chaired by regional president and Malagueño mayor Marcos Fey, included mayors, communal heads and representatives such as deputy Facundo Torres, Minister of Social Development Marcos Torres, public revenue secretary Gerardo Pintucci and security secretary Agustín González.

Attendees reviewed the status of public resources, especially the shared‑revenue funds that municipalities receive, and identified the main difficulties confronting their jurisdictions. The session also produced a joint agenda to strengthen security coordination between the provincial government, the Córdoba police and local authorities, while addressing environmental, educational and development issues for the region.
